Ashris is the founder of iipmaps and creator behind the YouTube channel 'India in Pixels'. With a background in architecture from IIT Kharagpur and research experience at the MIT Media Lab and ETH Zürich, he brings a unique blend of systems thinking, design intuition, and narrative craft to the platform. Over the years, he has built a loyal audience of over a million across iip's socials that make complex ideas about Indian languages, culture, and history visually accessible and emotionally resonant. At iipmaps, Ashris leads product vision, design, and storytelling strategy. A former national-level debater and editor, he’s passionate about building tools that empower people to see their world differently through maps, stories, and data-driven insight.

As a software development intern, Manvendra brings fresh perspectives and technical skills to the iipmaps platform. He focuses on implementing new features, improving user experience, and ensuring the codebase remains robust and scalable. His contributions have been instrumental in enhancing the platform's functionality and performance.
Public Policy Advisor
Malika is a public policy and development professional with extensive experience working with the Government of India. She has served as Assistant Private Secretary to Cabinet Ministers in Women and Child Development, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, and Health, as well as a Policy Analyst and Research Fellow for senior officials. Malika has taught entrepreneurship and public sector engagement at IRMA (Gujarat), The Naropa Fellowship (Ladakh), and IIT Mandi, mentoring over 100 start-ups and guiding the `Rising Young Leaders Cohort 2025` at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). Recognized for her impact, she received the 2023 FICCI FLO `Star Award` and was featured in the 25 under 25 list of political leaders and policymakers by THE BODY SHOP and Young India Foundation.
